New Hampshire Police

The State Attorney General has coordinated with all the LEO forensic investigators. They are setting standards and consistency in the way computerized material is seized, stored, analyzed, and delivered to the investigator and prosecutor for court. They are working on a centralized secure storage area.

Visiting some Local history

We had visited a cemetary here to see how old some of the stones were. We went back to find an enscription we couldn't remember. This was interesting.

Still trying to keep this updated

Remember, you can click on the photos and get better detail. I usually upload large photos. This has been a fun project. New Hampshire this week. It is the Granite State and there is a lot of rock here! It has been back and forth with the weather according to the locals. It got up to 33 today.

Still a little cold here, February 2006 in Concord N.H.

We saw some kids playing hockey on this stuff, but I didn't have the camera handy!

Above the front doors of the old State Court House, Concord N.H.

This was some old stained glass.

The dome of this old state courthouse is beautiful and lighted at night

Liberty!

Times have changed!

This old plaque was on the wall of this fine old building. Hopefully, we won't need one of these!

Some local Concord churches

Obadiah Peters of Rumford, John Bean of Brentwood, Samuel and Johnathan Bradley

These stones noted that these men were Massacred by the Indians and were soldiers engaged in the defense of the N.H. Frontier. August 11, 1746.

Very interesting wrought iron fencing and gate!

The history of one's town usually lies here!

We noted that they used a "j" for the first numeral on the date, as in 1727 in this case. Rolfe was a Harvard Grad.

There were different styles of headstones here.

I am not sure what the writing on the stone on the left is??? If someone enlightens me, I will post it.

I figured there would be a bit of history here in Concord

Mary Wilson 1773...the inscription on the bottom, "How swift the shuttle flies that weaves the shroud" She was only 31. We saw many infants here too. Life was not so easy back then.

Setting up the wireless Class. Nice classroom with multiple screens and flat panels

Old Mercury-must have survivied the salt-no rust!!

Fred is learning a lot at his new job!

Mostly he is learning that is really cold there! While we had a sunny 70 degrees, he had this snow. I guess it was only 13 or 14 inches. This is why real estate in California is a good investment, I suppose??
